Family Cultural Earth Day Festival
Come to party, come to dance, come to hear the best music, when the Winnetka Neighborhood Council launches a new community event, "Family Cultural Earth Day" as part of the Valley Cultural Center's Free Concerts in the Park ongoing free series.

Headlining Sunday's concert is Grammy Award and Oscar Award winning, B.J. Thomas at 6 p.m. Many of B.J.'s signature hits--the Oscar-winning "Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head," the million-selling, "(Hey Won't You Play) Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song," and his career-igniting cover of Hank Williams' "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry."
The Winnetka Neighborhood Council brings Family Cultural Earth Day to Warner Park with eco-friendly workshops and informational booths with tips and products on how to conserve energy. The purpose of the event is to bring residents and businesses together to have fun and learn about energy conservation that can help the environment and save money.
The event will feature businesses and organizations from the greater Los Angeles area, live entertainment/music, food, games, gifts and prizes, and guest speakers. It will showcase the latest products and ideas to consumers that promote energy conservation such as energy efficient lighting, solar and alternative power systems, irrigation systems, energy efficient appliances, windows, doors, and air conditioning/heating systems. Fuel efficient and alternative fuel vehicles, waste disposal systems, and countless other ways to save money will be featured.
The Greenbike™ will have a celebrity Greenbike Ride which ends at the Warner Park and all celebrities' will after finish the ride give their signature on one bike which be raffle of during the afternoon.
The Mayor's Office is planning to donate 100 one gallon trees for give away. The board plans to provide fans as giveaways. The committee is seeking sponsors, offering booths and working on other promotional material.
The Winnetka Neighborhood Council is an advisory Board to the City of Los Angeles City Council. We are certified by the City of Los Angeles to represent the community of Winnetka in City matters and work to improve the community. Our job is to interact with directly with our stakeholders and take your concerns and needs back to the City Council member or City departments. The Valley Cultural Center serves the greater San Fernando Valley as the prominent resource in promoting the
performing and visual arts. With the active support and participation of the community, our mission is to entertain, enrich and educate current and future generations. We offer diverse programs and events as well as recognize outstanding achievements in the arts.
A variety of food and refreshments will be available for purchase. Patrons are allowed to bring blankets, beach/lawn chairs, picnic baskets and coolers. Dogs must be on a leash at all times.

Lou Bredlow Pavilion in Warner Center Park is located at 5800 Topanga Canyon Boulevard, Woodland Hills. Parking is available in the parking structures on Califa Street for $8 or in parking structures east of Owensmouth Avenue between Califa Street and Oxnard Street.
